Art of India
Art of India is very impressive.
The art of India is varied and impressive. Indian architecture is extraordinary and a lot of styles are melded to create works of great refinement. Shah Jahan has made the most enduring mark on architectural history with his Red Fort and the Taj Mahal in Agra. The Taj Mahal almost became a symbol for art of India. The art of India is the deepest representation of culture and is accessible at different levels. Whether you go to a classical dance, enjoy Carnatic or Hindustani music, admire woodwork, buy ceramics, incense, jewellery, textiles or rugs, it’s all art. Even the Indian cuisine can be enjoyed as an art of cooking.
Ceramics is an underestimated art of India. Beautiful pots and jars of
various kinds are created on the wheel, and afterwards skilfully
decorated with glaze. Votive offerings, like terracotta horses and other
creatures, idols of various descriptions and even replicas of parts of
the human body, are also part of the potter’s repertoire.
