Hotels in Delhi
Finding hotels in Delhi, the Indian capital.
Finding hotels in Delhi is not difficult. It is the capital of the country and the third largest city with a population of 11.5 million . Some of the city’s tourist attractions are: the Red Fort, Kashmir Gate, Coronation Durbar Site, Feroz Shah Kotla, Connaught Place (where many of the hotels of Delhi are situated), Jantar Mantar, Lakshmi Narayan temple (also called Birla Mandir) and Rajpath. As mentioned already, you can find hotels in Delhi easily on Connaught Place and the Janpath area, but also in the Paharganj area, in Old Delhi and in the Chanakyapuri area. Sunder Nagar has a nice choice of good and pleasant accommodations for reasonable prices. The city also has a variety of expensive accommodations. If you’re looking for hotels in Delhi, it is advised to book well ahead by phone or by email. Many of the good and reasonably priced places get fully booked quickly, especially in holiday periods. Generally the city’s accommodations are overpriced, especially when compared with the rest of the larger and smaller cities of India.
