India Books
India books can be very interesting.
You can find a lot of India books that are very interesting and affordable, and a lot of them are in the English language, because India is one of the world’s largest publishers of English books. A lot of these India books are not available in the West, especially the ones about India itself. One of India’s best-known writers, RK Narayan, has written some unique India books that include: Swami and Friends, The Guide, Malgudi Days, The Financial Expert, Waiting for the Mahatma and The World of Nagaraj. Many of these wonderful stories centre on the fictitious town of Malgudi in South India.
Other prominent authors who wrote some well-known India books are: Mulk
Raj Anand, Raja Rao, Nissam Ezekiel, Shashi Tharoor, Rohinton Mistry,
Amitav Ghosh, Rabindranath Tagore, Khushwant Singh, Salman Rushdie,
Arundhati Roy, Vikran Seth, Anita Desai, Shasi Deshpande, Triveni,
Kaveri Nambisan, Ruskin Bond, and many more who are worth it to read
about.
