India Tourism
In India tourism is becoming more and more important.
One of the most richly rewarding regions of the world to visit is India. Tourism has developed well in this magnificent country, but it’s just not possible to see everything in one lifetime. The heart of India tourism beats in the densely populated plains of the river Ganges. These plains are the home of great civilisations. Another centre of India tourism is Goa. It’s palm-fringed golden beaches on the sun-drenched tropical West Coast, have long provided a magical travel destination for tourists from around the world. Divers can find a coral paradise at the Lakshadweep Islands equalling that of the better known Maldives to the south.
Responsible India tourism means that you behave in an appropriate
manner, take the time to understand as much as possible about the region
before travelling there, and be aware of the implications of your
presence in that region. Tourism growth has negative environmental
repercussions and travellers should dispose of rubbish in an
environmentally friendly manner, and encourage hotel management to do
the same.
